About Jet’aime Luciano
Nurse. Veteran. Witness. Advocate for embodied healing.
HER STORYA LIFE SHAPED BY CARE, CONFLICT, AND RECOVERY
Jet’aime Luciano is a registered nurse, combat veteran, and facilitator. Her work is shaped by 20+ years inside healthcare systems and a lived experience of survival, burnout, and recovery. Jet’aime was raised within the Chicago mob, abandoned by her Korean lineage, and emblazoned with military service during OIF/OEF. Her wisdom of care under pressure shines with the responsibility to nurture care in the self.
While transitioning into a nurse role, Jet’aime encountered a system struggling to honor the connection between science, nervous system regulation, and the lived reality of human suffering. What she observed at the bedside, and practiced with acute psychiatric clients, revealed a gap between policy and person. The bleak understanding that treatment was separated from dignity by “policy” inspired, rather than its purpose to deplete, the unique leader within Jet’aime.
Her work emerged not from theory alone, but from necessity.
PHILOSOPHY & APPROACH
AN EVIDENCE-INFORMED, HUMAN-CENTERED APPROACH
Jetaime’s work bridges clinical science with embodied practice. Her approach integrates progressive trauma education, nervous system regulation, and experiential learning to support caregivers, veterans, and healthcare professionals navigating burnout, moral injury, and compassion fatigue.
Her work is informed by modalities that span Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy,
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and somatic approach practices that honor embodied awareness. She is a lifelong student of Margaret Newman’s theory of expanding consciousness, which continues to shape her belief that health is not simply the absence of illness. Health must include an awakening to self and environment.
This work is not about fixing what is broken.
It is about restoring what was overwhelmed.
TAKE THE FIRST STEPThis work is for those who are ready to soften, reconnect, and return to themselves.
Sustainable care begins with regulation, awareness, and choice. A supported healthcare worker’s presence is powerful in healing patients, teams, and communities alike. If you’re interested in bringing trauma-centered experiential education to your organization, facility, or community, this is the place to start.
A TESTIMONIAL“Jet’aime held my spirit while I fostered my self-worth and self-love. The custom meditations empowered everyday practices to love moments.”
